My self care story...

Ok so this is the story, I have been struggling with my weight since I was like 12 and I am done! I have learned so much about nutrition, I have learned amazing habits that have transformed my life BUT, I have not healed completely, I still have so much to learn and so much to grow.  But I'm done with the sabotaging. let me explain...

This journey of self love and self care has been long and to be honest, sometimes I feel like quitting and giving up on how far I have come.  There is also this strength I have inside of me that makes me push every day to become a better woman.  How can I explain this two forces inside of me? (one day).

So in less than a month I will turn 34! and I really wish I can improve my habits, I don't want to be perfect, but I don't want to quit every other week on myself.  Do you feel what I am saying? Most of the time I know what I have to do, but don't always do it.

These destructive behaviors have sabotage my habits for years, and those destructive behaviors come from a emotional freeze I put my self on, whenever I feel "too much",  I end up in the same destructive place,  and I end up feeling frustrated and empty. (and binge eating, and
I stop juicing, and basically put my healthy and pretty habits on pause.  This also took me a long time to figure out).
So for the next year my goal is not to be perfect, but to be consistent to follow through my habits and my self care routine.

So now I publicly declare that I will follow through my self care list,  and I will also take care of my emotions, I know that as long as I can identify them and freely FEEL them, I will also identify my destructive behaviors and overcome them.

So here is my list of 10 things I want to be consistent with, feel free to create your own list and join me in this self care journey, (let me know you are here).  Your list doesn't have to be this long, it could be shorter or longer than mine, the purpose of the list is to keep at it, every day, forever...
  1. Meditate and pray every day for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Drink 72 oz of water per day.
  3. Dry brush my body  every day.
  4. Hydrate my skin with coconut oil everyday, (including my face routine)
  5. Juice everyday.
  6. Eat healthy everyday.
  7. Scream considerable less until I don't scream ever again.  (lol)
  8. Read everyday at least 2 pages.
  9. Do the only 4 yoga poses I know everyday as exercise and increase.
  10. Practice breathing everyday.
And if I don't follow through the entire list everyday because of obvious reason, then at least I want to follow with one thing on my list until I can get back on track without self punishment and without guilt.

amen.

So, what is on your list? :)
